Welcome to Episcopal-Baton Rouge.Your first visual impression of our campus will be remarkable. Columned academic buildings and generous walkways define the edges of the three quadrangles. On the periphery of the campus are Episcopal’s many playing fields and the stunning Visual and Performing Arts Center. Live oaks and crepe myrtle enrich the deltaic feeling. Vegetable gardens and bio-swales help educate our students in their Louisiana heritage. Anchoring the front quadrangle is the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, with its carillons calling students to Chapel.

The beauty of the campus is only a backdrop to the work that is accomplished here at Episcopal. We exist for the sake of our students and the world of tomorrow that they, as graduates, will create. Our Statement of Mission and Ministry promises to “nurture and develop the whole child—spiritually, morally, physically, and artistically—through challenging academic and co-curricular programs which prepare our graduates for college and for purposeful lives.” It is well-documented that a child’s character is formed by the time he or she is eighteen. Here at Episcopal, we take our role in this formation very seriously.
