The mission of our Episcopal School libraries is to provide an inviting and supportive environment where print and electronic resources enrich and support the curriculum as well as meet the needs of personal interests and recreational reading for students, faculty and staff.
The Episcopal School libraries are an integral part of the school's academic and intellectual structure. Librarians and teachers work together to address the changing world of information retrieval in order to prepare our students for life-long learning, informed decision makingand productive use of information technology.
Pollard Lower School library offers a wide collection of books & magazines, as well as videos and electronic resources. The library has a full computer lab and Smartboard presentation system. Available software includes Microsoft Office, Accelerated Reader, and a foreign language program. Databases appropriate for younger users include SIRS Discoverer, World Book On-line Encyclopedia and EBSCO’s NoveList.
The Aldrich Memorial Library strives to be the intellectual center of Episcopal's Middle and Upper campus. The goal of the library is to implement, enrich, and support the educational programs of the school.
