Episcopal will announce on its home page
when it will begin to receive Non-Standard Applications.
This will occur after a mandatory evacuation of another
locale is ordered. No Non-Standard Applications will be
considered until after such announcement is posted.
Applications will be governed by the following:
- An application will not be considered until it is
complete.
- Completed applications will be considered on a first-come,
first-served basis.
- Completed applications may be hand-delivered to the
Episcopal Admissions Office or faxed to 225-756-0507.
We will not be held responsible for disruptions in telephone
or facsimile service.
- Faxed applications will not be considered “received” until
they have been verified as complete by a staff member.
- An individual may submit applications for one family
only.
- Acceptance will be based on suitable academic qualifications
and on a space-available basis. Episcopal cannot guarantee
space for accepted students in the same courses they
were taking in their home school.
In case a mandatory evacuation does not become
a sustained emergency:
- Episcopal will process Non-Standard Applications,
however, no contracts will be offered until the Board
of Trustees determines that there is a sustained emergency.
- If the event is not a sustained emergency, all submitted
Non-Standard Admission applications will be shredded.
- Each mandatory evacuation is approached as a new event.
The Application
for Non-Standard Admission will not be
considered complete until all the checklist items
have been received.
