The Sportsmedicine Team: Athletic Training

 

Through a ‘Partnership in Healthcare’ arrangement, Peak Performance Physical Therapy provides a nationally certified athletic trainer contracted exclusively to Episcopal High School to provide for the care, prevention and treatment of athletic injuries.

Family Practice Physicians: Head Team Physician for LSU athletics, Dr. Jeff Burnham will serve as the family physician resource to the athletic department for issues like concussions, staph infections, nutrition, exercise induced asthma, and eating disorders.

Orthopaedic Surgeon: Dr. Gerard Murtagh will serve as the primary physician for orthopaedic related injuries and will provide some onsite game coverage.
