Course Overview

Marjorie Gaudet's Fifth grade class uses the Episcopal Church Curriculum which is divided into three separate units, beginning with a study of some of the Wisdom texts of the Old Testament, including Psalms and Proverbs. We will then become familiar with some of Jesus' teachings from the New Testament, focusing on how Jesus' life revealed the love of God on earth. In the last section, we will learn about the sacramental life of the Church, especially the Holy Eucharist and Holy Baptism. Our general theme will lead the children to God's call to all of us to be saints in the bringing of His heavenly kingdom to earth, a special and unique call to each of us.
