The 6th graders held a bake sale on the 60th anniversary of Pearl Harbor to raise money for the Louisiana Home for Veterans of Foreign Wars in Jackson, LA. They raised over $750!! In Ms. Johanna Leonard's class they have been focusing on what it means to be an American as they study each part of history. Students even created a wall collage of poetry and photos in their room after September 11th.
