Sarah Bedell, a senior at Episcopal, signed a national letter of intent with Louisiana State University for swimming on Nov. 15.

She recently completed her high school career by winning the Division IV state championship in the 100-yard breaststroke for the third straight year and repeated as the state champion in the 200-yard individual medley. She was also a member of the state champion 200-yard medley relay team in 2003 and 2004.

Sarah was recognized as the Division IV Nokia Outstanding Female Swimmer in 2003 and 2004. She broke her own state record in the breaststroke at this year’s meet with a time of 1:06.12 and received All American Consideration honors.
