Episcopal senior Karen Pace signed a letter of intent with Arkansas State University for track and field on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. during a ceremony at Episcopal.

Pace was the 2004 state champion in pole vault for Class 2A, as well as the indoor state champion for Division 2. Pace was also a member of the state runner-up 400-meter relay team in 2004.

She was the 2004 LSWA Outstanding Field Performer and holds the Class 2A state record in the pole vault at 11’3”. Pace also won the District 8-2A championship in pole vault, 100-meter hurdles and 1600-meter relay in 2004.

Pace is a member of the National Honor Society and has a 3.94 GPA.
