Episcopal eighth-grader Matthew S. earned a perfect score on the 2005 National Latin Exam. Only 1,591 students attained that distinction out of 135,000 who participated in the United States, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, England, Poland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, China and Zimbabwe.

Matthew will receive a special certificate from the National Latin Exam Committee in recognition of his achievement.
