Episcopal teacher Emmitt Glynn is one of only 36 teachers nationally
accepted to attend a seminar on the Constitution. The seminar
is coordinated by the Urban Institute through the national Center
for Civic Education. Mr. Glynn will study the Constitution for
one week at Boston University. After returning to Episcopal, Mr.
Glynn will conduct a Senate hearing exercise with students, which
will allow them to learn about the judicial powers of Congress.
The Urban Institute will pay Mr. Glynn’s travel and boarding
expenses. Mr. Glynn teaches Upper School social studies and religion
classes and directs the honors diploma program.
