Three Episcopal students earned awards in the Louisiana State Essay Competition, sponsored by the Louisiana State Bar Association’s young lawyers section.

Caitlin Hodges, John Potts and Marshall Watts won three out of eight total district awards in the state. They each received $50, a certificate and an American flag. The essay topic for this year centered on the Supreme Court decision to declare juvenile death sentences unconstitutional.
