Episcopal junior Miriam Ruzicka won a scholarship to study for four weeks in Paris at L’Ecole Suisse Internationale during the annual convention of the Louisiana Association of High School French Clubs Feb. 3-5 at the Marriott Hotel and Suites in Baton Rouge.

During the convention, sophomore Adam Grenier was also elected president of the organization. Sophomore Erica Grilletta was elected Region III representative.

Sophomore Haley Johnson and Grilletta placed first in the creative writing competition. Junior Jane Slusher won first place in the cultural trivia contest.

Episcopal earned second place awards in the artistic categories of the scrapbook and banner competitions. Episcopal also placed third in the skit competition.
