Sophomore Jared Allement was named to the Class 2A All-State football team as a place kicker. Senior Tim Machen received All-State honorable mention recognition.

Players named to the District 8-2A first-team offense were Allement, Machen (running back) and sophomore Carneal Ainsworth (offensive line). Members of the first-team defense were Machen (defensive back), senior Anthony Schultz (defensive line), senior John Potts (defensive line) and senior Clifton Byrd (linebacker). Machen also received first-team recognition as a kick returner.

Earning second-team honors on offense were Byrd and senior Robert Stewart.
