Episcopal’s varsity basketball players and coaches earned district honors.

Travis Bourgeois was named District 8-2A girls Coach of the Year, and Chris Beckman was named Co-Coach of the Year for the boys.

Andrew Loupe was named district Most Valuable Player, and Taylor Mims was the Louisiana Sports Writers Association MVP for the girls. Nichole Anderson was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.

Boys earning first-team district honors were Loupe and Kendal Thomas. Girls named to the first team were Mims, Danielle Jones and Marchelle Jones.
