Seventeen Episcopal students earned awards at the State Literary
Rally on April 21.
Placing first were Carl Sabottke, Advanced
Math I, Jacob Hobbs, Calculus, Bria Pierre, French I, Annika
Reinelt, French II, Alex Pace, Psychology, and Robin
Bowman, Latin II. Sabottke, Reinelt and Pace were also named overall winners
because they earned the highest scores across all divisions.
Mike Evers placed
second in Latin I. Placing third were Alfonso Croeze, Advanced
Math II, Ross Wafer, Algebra II, and Tiffany Tassin, Spanish III.
Earning
fourth-place awards were Emily Lutz, Civics, and Annabelle Williams,
Spanish II. Katherine Seger earned fifth place in English I.
Josh Parnell
earned a superior rating in French Extemporaneous Speaking II,
and Adam Grenier earned a superior rating in French Extemporaneous
Speaking IV. Earning excellent ratings were Jessica Chu in Spanish Extemporaneous
Speaking
III and Ty Thomas in Spanish Interpretive Reading IV.
