During the first week of October, the Episcopal Highsteppers promoted
the Cox Football, Food and Families drive for the Baton Rouge Food
Bank. Episcopal joined together with U-High to collect non-perishable
food prior to the EHS vs. U-High football game on Oct. 5th. Food
barrels were placed around the campus to encourage participation.
Together, the two schools raised over 5,000 pounds of food! All
divisions were encouraged to participate. Mr. Roper’s advisory
group won the Upper School advisory competition and received free
smoothies from Smoothie King for their top participation. Middle
School students who donated were allowed to participate in a blue/gold
spirit free dress on game day.
