Episcopal fifth grader Miranda H was a winner in the Louisiana Writes! Youth Writing contest sponsored by the Louisiana Writing Project. Miranda’s entry titled "My Brother" earned second place in the 3rd/4th grade fiction division of the contest. As a winner Miranda will be honored at an awards ceremony on November 3, 2007 during the Louisiana Book Festival held in the State Museum on the Capitol grounds in Baton Rouge.
