Episcopal’s National Honor Society welcomed twenty-eight new members from the junior and senior classes in a ceremony held on April 4, 2008.

The inductees were Helen Butts, Catherine Breaux, Jane Lloyd Brown, Camille Carnes, Kelsey Clark, Meredith Corby, Brittany Dillon, Clare Gaskell, John Gaudet, Taylor Griffin, Daniela Isaza, Moreed Khosravanipour, Emily Lutz, Matt Lewis, Caitie Miller, Cameron Miller, Taylor Mims, Shelby Moore, Carl Sabottke, Matthew Saltz, Ricky Sheldon, Andrew Shockey, Tiffany Tassin, Ty Thomas, Ross Wafer, Gina White, William White and Claire Williams.

To begin the ceremony, members Naiha Mussarat, Rachel Lyle, Hannah Park and Megan Redhead each lit a candle representing the focus areas of the NHS, scholarship, service, leadership and character. Guest speaker Lori Bertman encouraged the new members to continue service to their community and to pursue leadership opportunities. A reception for Honor Society members and their families followed the ceremony. Elizabeth Kelsey, Upper School English, serves as the sponsor of the NHS.
