Thirteen Episcopal students earned awards at the State Literary
Rally on April 19.
Placing first were Elisabeth Butler, French I, Josh Parnell, Algebra
II and Mike Evers, Latin II. Butler was also named an overall winner
scoring the highest points of all schools in the state across all
divisions.
Placing second were Andrew Shockey, Advanced Math II, Alfonso Croeze,
Calculus, Elizabeth Cooper, French II, Andrew Chapple, Journalism
I, Brad Hebert, Latin I, and Carl Sabottke, Physics. Placing third
were Haley Johnson, Biology II, and Sarabrent McCoy, Spanish III.
Sarah Heigle placed fourth in Spanish I, and Keller Quinn placed
fifth in Biology I. Earning excellent ratings were Hallie Anderson
in French Interpretive Reading and Jeanne Howe in French II Extemporaneous
Speaking.
