Admissions Process

We are pleased with your interest in Episcopal and trust that the admission process will serve you well.  Every effort is made to deal fairly with each applicant and to do everything possible to enroll the students who will best benefit from our academic and extracurricular programs.

Application Information and Fee
A nonrefundable fee of $125.00 for grades PreK-12 must accompany each child's application. This payment is part of the online application.

Teacher Evaluations
If your child is applying for PreK or K, please give the PreK/K Teacher Evaluation to your child’s current primary teacher and ask that it be returned directly to the Admissions Office.
If your child is applying for grade 1-5, please give the Lower School Teacher Evaluation to your child's current primary teacher and ask that it be returned directly to the Admissions Office.
Applicants to grades 6-12 should provide a current year Math Teacher Recommendation and English Teacher Recommendation with the appropriate teacher evaluation forms and ask that they be mailed directly to the Admissions Office.

Parents Questionnaire
A parent questionnaire is part of the online application. Please complete carefully and thoroughly.

Student Questionnaire
The prospective student's input is required as part of a student questionnaire section for applicants in grades 6-12. This is also included in the online admissions application.
 
Birth Certificate
You will have the opportunity to upload a scanned version of your birth certificate on the online application process. Alternatively, you can mail or hand deliver a copy of the birth certificate to the Admissions Office.

The Episcopal Code
Students applying for grades 9-12 should read and respond to information regarding Episcopal's Honor Code and Council included in the on-line application.

Financial Assistance
Episcopal offers financial assistance to admitted applicants on a need basis. Families wishing to apply for financial assistance should complete the Financial Aid application available on Episcopal's website. Click here to access the Financial Aid application.

School Transcript/Grade Report
Students must provide Epsicopal with the most recent academic transcript from your child's current school by completing the Transcript Release Form and sending it to the current school.

Screening/Testing

Grades PreK - 5
All applicants must be screened. Admissions applications must be completed prior to scheduling the screenings. Click here to apply now. Please schedule your student for screening by calling the Admissions Office to reserve a space for a date.

Grades 3-12: All applicants must take Episcopal’s admission test. Admissions applications must be completed prior to scheduling the testing. Click here to apply now.  Please schedule your student for testing by contacting the Admissions Office to schedule a testing date

Campus Visits/Tours
Arrange for a campus touring by contacting the Admissions Office. This can be done prior to submitting an application or at any time during the admissions process. We recommend visits for students applying for grades 6-12.  Please call (225) 755-2713 to schedule a tour.
