Parent
to Parent Program
Parent to Parent has taken off at Episcopal
thanks to our parents devotion and committment in this worthwhile
program. New classes are currently being formed. If you
are interested in more information, please see the P2P link
on ourParent page or contact Bronwyn Rispone, EHS parent
at:
bronwynrispone@cox.net
Here are just a few comments from the wonderful
feedback shared from parents about P2P:
"My group became more and more open with each meeting,
and by the last meeting, we were really being quite candid
and forthcoming and offering each other tangible tactics
for handling problems." -parent
"Our discussions were SO good. I couldn't get everyone
to stop talking. As I left the parking lot 30 minutes later...
groups were out there still talking. This is the best thing
that has happened in my life this year. Thank you for giving
me the opportunity to facilitate." -parent
"Every parent regardless of how wise, needs this!"
-parent
"The program gets an A+." - parent
And there's more...Debbie Neese also shared a CD with all
attendees that she made containing all of the comprehensive
facilitator documents...it is quite impressive! Contact
the P2P rep in your child's division for a copy.
Look for sign up information at the Parent To Parent
Table on Parents' Night for each division.

What is a School Counselor?
A school counselor is a trained professional who conducts
in-school activities to meet the emotional and developmental
needs of children and adolescents. Counseling activities are
designed to promote self-understanding and self-awareness,
and may range from educational to social to personal in nature.
The counselor conducts meetings both in groups and in private
for any student requiring individualized counseling. Through
developmental exercises, students acquire better coping and
problem-solving skills to help them grow into healthy, responsible
students.
When to Contact a Counselor:
- If you are concerned about your child’s behavior
- If your child has a significant change in mood, sleep
patterns, appetite, or seems depressed
- If your child is experiencing academic or social difficulties
- If you are concerned about your child’s peer relationships
- If a significant event has recently occurred in your
family or child’s life
*Please call your child's divison counselor with your
questions. We're here to help!
