for Submitting College Applications

All parts of the application must be turned in to Mrs. Rappold
according to the schedule below:
· Secondary School Report Forms at least one month prior to the
application deadline.
· All other materials (application, fees, essays, etc.) as well
as the EHS Application Checklist
at least two weeks prior to the application deadline.
Please remember that when application deadlines fall during or shortly
after a school holiday, I must have the materials either one month (for
Secondary School Report Forms) or two weeks (for application materials)
prior to the last school day. For example if the deadline is January 1st,
I must have the Secondary School Report no later than November 19th and
all other parts of the application no later than December 3rd.
The only way I can guarantee that your application will arrive at the
college on time is for you to follow this schedule.
To Submit an Application:
· If a faculty recommendation is needed in addition to the official
letter provided by EHS, give the appropriate materials to the teacher
with enough time for it to be completed prior to the two-week deadline
for Mrs. Rappold HINT: Give them the form at the same time you give Mrs.
Rappold the Secondary School Report.
· Turn in Secondary School Report (if needed) at least one month
prior to deadline.
· Complete application entirely and neatly! This is SO important.
· Photocopy ALL parts of what you are submitting. Yes, colleges
have been known to misplace applications.
· Fill out a “College
Application Checklist” for each application.
· Give all parts of the application (form, essay, fee, etc.) as
well as the “College Application
Checklist” to Mrs. Rappold at least two weeks prior to deadline.
· Because the packet will include school records and confidential
information, we will use official school envelopes.
As long as we follow these guidelines, there will be absolutely no problem
getting applications to the college on time. If you have any questions,
